Geolink
Geolink has manufactured the Orienteer MWD (Measurement While Drilling) systems for sale to drilling services suppliers worldwide since 1990. The acquisition of Geolink into the Sondex group was completed in June 2004, (please see separate entry for Geolink product range).

Production Logging Tools
For downhole in-situ fluid characterization and flow regimes within an oil or gas well, the production logging tool combinations can be run in surface-read or memory using Sondex ULTRAlink high speed data transmission. A standard production logging suite of pressure, temperature, dual axis calipers and flow-meters can be enhanced for greater data capture by combining with:

• Capacitance Array Tool: an array of 12 individual sensors gives circumferential phase profile.
• Gas Hold Up: uses the principle of electron density to determine gas hold up.

Well Integrity Platform
Knowledge of casing and tubing through-out the life of the well can minimize the amount of remedial work and associated downtime needed to keep a producing well online. Combining Sondex through-tubing Multi-finger Calipers and Metal Thickness Imaging Tools will give a complete view of the internal and external casing condition. Cement bond quality can be determined using HyperSonic Radial Bond.

• HyperSonic Radial Bond Tools: 3ft and 5ft traditional CBL measurement combined with an 8 receiver array for cement map image.

Downhole Tractor
2 1/8 inch tractor is used on mono-conductor wireline cable for the deployment of logging tools in complex and highly deviated well profiles. The tractor arms are electrically opened for self centralization and tractor motion. Well Entry Simulation Toolkit (WEST), is pre-job planning software to predict tractor loads versus well depth.

Downhole Electric Cutting Tool
Is a non-hazardous and non-explosive, pipe cutter that can be deployed on wireline cutting tubulars.
